New WCET-Tv Mural Honors Dr. O’dell Owens

WCET-Tv set is honoring longtime Action Auction chairman and WCET-Television volunteer Dr. O’dell Owens with a mural on the east wall of the station and a September block get together that includes illuminations by Brave Berlin of BLINK and Lumonocity fame.

Workers were installing the big mural Wednesday on the Central Parkway side of the Crosley Telecommunications Middle, 1223 Central Parkway, which homes the station. It will be dedicated at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12.

Owens, who will chair the 2021 Action Auction for a history 11th yr Sept 8-11, also will be honored through the station’s 1st CET is ME block celebration Sept. 23-25 at the station. The spotlight will be the Courageous Berlin mild display illuminating The Singing Mural on the south end, overlooking the parking lot.
